Record Videos From Front and Rear Cameras at Same Time

This feature comes by default in some Android phones, but not everyone is using those phones, so there are some other ways too. Here, I am listing 3 such third-party apps for Android that let you record videos from both cameras at the same time.

1. Double Side Camera

This app is one of the best apps for this and it uses the front & rear cameras of the phone simultaneously. You can take photos or record videos with both cameras. Other features include four types camera layouts, drag the camera layout to change it, etc. The app is very easy to use. Here’s how you can record videos:

  1. Download and install the app on your phone. Give it permission to camera and mic. Download
  2. Now change the camera layout from the settings by tapping on the clog icon at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Start recording by tapping on record button. That’s it. The recording will be saved in your phone’s gallery. You can also change video quality from the settings. There is an issue with this app as some devices can not start the front and rear cameras at the same time, so there is no guarantee that it will work on all devices.

Another app to record video from both cameras is Dual Camera. This is a simple to use app that can capture photos and videos with both the front and back cameras at once. This app also has one limitation as it may not run on the phones that have chipsets other than Snapdragon ones. Here’s how to use this app:

  1. Download and install the app on your phone. Download 
  2. Tap on camera icon and then choose the video output from settings by tapping on clog icon at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Start recording by tapping on video record button. That’s it, and the recording will be saved on your phone. You can also change video quality from hight to medium or low.
